Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Strike Craft Carrier - Front
Description:
The Strike Craft Carrier serves as a mothership for the majority of a fleet's interceptor, tactical bomber, corvette gunship, boarding craft, orbital lander, and shuttle contingent. Ample space for twenty squadrons of any given strike craft allows Carriers to fulfill a multitude of mission roles.
While any capital size ship is capable of housing their own compliment of strike craft, none are capable of supporting as many as the Carrier, save, perhaps, one of the massive Harborships. Four dedicated forward-facing magnetic catapult launch decks increase the deployment rate of the Carrier's strike craft, allowing the entire ship's compliment to be active in a matter of minutes.
Carriers are relatively lightly armed, instead relying on their stirke craft for defensive and offensive power. Several after-action report have been submitted, however, outlining Carriers that fall under heavier fire than expected to use a rather 'last ditch' defensive option, wherein the crew began firing racks of live munitions with the launch catapults in order to stave off approaching enemies.
Strike Craft Carriers, being closer to a utility ship than a true warship, also serve additional roles as ambassadors or humanitarian aid vessles on goodwill missions. Strike craft hangars can easily be converted into temporary housing for refugees, as well as storage for consumables and other medical supplies.
The engines of the Carrier are specially designed to resist damage fom surgical attacks from strike craft, as the engine block is usually one of the first targets for enemy tactical bombers, and Carriers have no backup drive systems should the primary one be taken offline or critically damaged.

Looks great, Carriars are my favorite type of warship because of their multiple tactical values.
